ESG reporting, climate impact projects
Accurate, evidence-based, and reliable mapping of environmental and climate impacts has become a given in today’s business environment. It is important to me that these reports are not written in bureaucratic jargon left to gather virtual dust on the internet. They must be simple and comprehensible and serve as a useful tool for taking responsibility for our environment and society.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in environmental and business management from Business Academy Aarhus in Denmark. During my time there, I focused on sustainable development, but also delved into the more academic world of nature conservation research at the Aarhus University's Department of Biosciences and at the Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation in Greece. I also hold a joint master’s degree cum laude in Environmental governance and adaptation to climate change from the University of Tartu and the Estonian University of Life Sciences. While I primarily focused on climate change and adaptation strategies during my studies, my master’s thesis work covered an important part of climate communications – the Estonian terminology related to climate change.
My previous experience as a science journalist and translator, along with creating suitable educational materials for general education and my background in city government work has given me a good understanding of how society engages with environmental topics at various levels.
At Sustinere, I support companies in ESG reporting and contribute to climate impact projects.
